The morning we arrived at the Ritz Carlton was absolutely beautiful, and I could tell it would be a spectacular day. Maybe it was the cool ocean breeze or the mimosas, but the excitement was palpable as we walked into the hotel room where the ladies were getting ready. Each bridesmaid doted on Ashley and together enjoyed their last morning with the soon to be Mrs. Romberg. Andrew presented a gift to Ashley in his typical comical fashion that had us all in stitches. You’ll have to wait for the video to fully enjoy this moment, but I’ll give you a teaser: it involved each bridesmaid and lots of accents.

The first look was one of my all time favorites. Andrew and Ashley decided that they wanted their family to be able to watch and they opted to have the maid of honor and best man cover their eyes before the big reveal. I have never done a first look quite like this before and it was extremely special. All you have to do is take one look at Andrew’s face in the photographs to see what I mean. The peanut gallery watched with tissues from the balcony and it was a truly incredible moment.

But there were more to come! From their sunset ceremony, to the live band that played old classics (like Frank Sinatra, my personal favorite) at the reception, to the BEST toasts (yes that’s plural) I have ever heard — this day was full of incredible moments. I mean seriously folks. I love being an orange county wedding photographer! 

Andrew and Ashley, you are one of the rare couples that I could instantly tell were made for each other. I have sincerely enjoyed getting to know you and your friends and family. May love continue to abound and joy overflow in your lives!
