I took Claire’s pictures on a beautiful cloudy day that marked the beginning of my favorite season. We covered the typical getting-to-know-you topics and Claire mentioned the small Christian school she plans on attending located outside of Chicago. Despite there being two universities that fit the description, I got visibly excited. Claire spotted my enthusiasm but didn’t match it, telling me that no one in Southern Oregon has heard of the school. At that point I knew it had to be Olivet Nazarene University. Claire is going to the same school my husband and I attended and where we met. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone from my hometown who has heard of Olivet, let alone plans on attending! For the remainder of the session, we shared in the, “It’s such a small world” moment and Claire indulged me on a trip down memory lane. It was so fun sharing stories and experiences from my college days and attempting to recall the best places to eat and visit in Chicago. I am still so thrilled that I had the opportunity to capture Claire’s senior portraits. I am over-the-moon excited for her to attend the best school and conquer the business world! Go Tigers!
