New Website!
The last time I launched a new website (in 2014) I learned a lot about myself; mostly, that I am a crazy, although selective, perfectionist. I’d love to tell you that I gleaned from that experience when re-designing my website this time around. The truth: I forgot.
I forgot how stretching the process is mentally and creatively. I forgot just how determined I get to see a vision through to completion. But most importantly, I forgot how taking time to explore other creative outlets makes me a better photographer.
From hand lettering my new logo to designing the small graphic details of the site, it has been so much fun! But boy, am I ready to put this project behind me and move on with other things. The idea of picking up my camera more and sitting behind a computer less is thrilling at this point.
Last year, I announced a new specialty and it is time for my brand and website to reflect that change. I hope you enjoy exploring all the nooks and crannies of the new site! I’ve even designed different versions for iPhones and tablets.
As an anniversary and vow renewal photographer, I am driven by a desire to capture the lifetime of love between husband and wife. It is likely that the very days you are living now are the ones you will fondly look back on and call “the good old days.” When you do, don’t you want photographs of your history as a couple to cherish and share? I’m willing to bet you are. In fact, I’ve changed specialties entirely based on this passion and a calling to cultivate a community that celebrates marriage at every stage.
