The discomfort and pain of pregnancy only made the anticipation all the sweeter as we prepared for Finley’s arrival. Even on the worst days, I knew that part of me would miss carrying our baby snug inside. For 9 months my excitement grew until it encompassed every fiber of my being.

I love these photographs even more now that we’ve met the sweet babe that was growing inside me. I will forever be in awe that God chose to use me to bring life into the world. Nothing I do will compare to this! Life is miraculous.

Thank you to my sweet friend, Hannah Mansur, for taking these photographs last fall. She’d been wanting to experiment with film and I think I have her hooked!
