One of my favorite things about taking on sessions in my home town (Medford, Oregon) is getting to photograph people that I’ve known forever. The Jantzers are such a fun and joyful bunch! This was my first session since having Finley and my first session for adoption. While shooting, I realized just how much motherhood has inspired me and picking up my camera felt natural and exciting. Incorporating film into this session allowed me to slow down and purposefully capture moments that illustrate this specific season in their lives. These are years they will fondly look back on and I feel privileged to be in the business of preserving memories!
